Biography

Franklin Nathaniel "Frankie" Jonas (born September 28, 2000) is an American actor who has a recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom, J.O.N.A.S. His older brothers - Joe, Nick, and Kevin - are all in the pop group Jonas Brothers.

Acting career

Beginning in 2008, Frankie appeared as himself in the Disney Short Series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, a reality show covering the band's time on the When You Look Me in the Eyes Tour. Jonas is set to star in his Brother's film adaption of Walter the Farting Dog, scheduled to premiere in 2010. In 2009, Jonas lent his voice efforts to a Japanese animated film, Hayao Miyazaki's "Ponyo", which is set to be released in American theaters on on August 14, 2009. He plays a character named Sōsuke, who is befriended by a juvenile fish named Ponyo (voiced by Noah Cyrus), who wants to become a human girl. He currently appears as a recurring character in the Disney Channel Original Series, J.O.N.A.S, that premiered May 2, 2009. He also won the award for "Choice Breakout TV Star Male" during the 2009 Teen choice awards.
